From the South:
From Mt. Diablo Blvd., traveling east, turn left onto N. California Blvd. (.3 miles). Turn right onto Civic Drive. 1375 Civic Drive is on the right, just past N. Broadway. If you reach Carlback Avenue you’ve gone a little too far.
From the West
Take Highway 24 East. Take the 680 South exit toward San Jose and stay in the leftmost lane on the exit ramp. Take the Mt. Diablo Blvd. exit (14) on the left, and continue to California Blvd. then turn left. Turn right onto Civic Drive. 1375 Civic Drive is on the right.
From the North:
Travel south on Contra Costa Blvd. which becomes North Main Street in Walnut Creek. Turn left on Parkside Dr. then turn right on Civic Drive. 1375 Civic Drive is on the left.
Detailed Directions:
The entrance to Civic Park is the first driveway on your right past the intersection at N. Broadway. The Senior Center, which is where the Seniors Club meets, is located in Civic Park a short walk northeast of the Library.
Parking in the lot as you turn off Civic Drive is probably easier than trying to park closer to the Senior Center, which is at the end of an access road deeper into the park. In each lot there are a few disabled parking places which fill up quickly.
There is a one-hour parking time limit in the lot next to the Senior Center; you can get a free temporary parking pass at the desk inside the Senior Center.
If both lots are full, there is paid parking at the Library; take N. Broadway south to Lincoln Avenue and turn east. Take the first driveway on your left and go down the ramp to the underground parking. There are a few disabled parking spaces in the garage. When you exit, go out the doors on the east side of the library. Follow the sidewalk along the east side of the Library; the Senior Center is the first building on the right.
